Dreams.

Wow...I didnt realise that sooooo many people were abusing Canada's health care system...My aunt was telling me about it today, and how badly hospitals are doing now because drug companies hiked up the price of drugs that cancer patients really need. Ex. There's a new 'mircale' drug for cancer patients that help them a lot, and without it, they will die, they need to take it everyday, and it costs the hosiptals (because of OHIP) $4000 for 1 month's supply. And since its under OHIP, the goverment has to pay for that, and its killing them. Also, the government cut back the amount of money they're spending in health care by 20mil, which means that Princess Margret Hosiptal (my aunt's hosiptal) can see 10% less patients. So say...100 people have cancer this year, and the next year it rises to 110, the hosiptal can only treat 90 of the patients...which means..30 are left to die? They cant go to other hosiptals cause they're all booked. So who's fault is this really? I blame it on the drug companies. They're rich, and they're trying to get moreeeee money than they already have. The government needs to make them have a fixed rate or something...its not fair that these drugs save lives, BUT they're hellah expensive, so not all people can get'em....damn drug companies. Now...what exactly can I do with this information that has been brought to my attention...? Well, not much, but tell everyone who reads this, to not abuse the health care system, for the sake of everyone else. As my aunt put it, Say you got a new car every year, would you bother fixing the old one if you knew that you would get another car for free at the end of the year? Its that kinda mentality thats screwing up our health care system, that we can get it fixed for free anyway, blah blah blah. "There's no such thing a free lunch" Blah blah balh. You kno...

In other news, I'm getting a PT Cruiser before April 8th. Which is pretty soon. Its gonna be my mom's car, but that also means, I can drive it occasionally~ When i get my lisence...lol
